Sakura Earrings

Sakura Earrings
Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) – are long, graceful and luxurious earrings with a delicate flower pattern and gently sparkling pale-yellow citrines.
This piece is part of my Cherry Blossom Collection. Having always been drawn to Japanese aesthetics, traditions, and craft practices, the idea for this collection emerged whilst listening to a novel set in Japan. Reflecting on the minimal beauty of Japanese cherry blossom prints by Hokusai and Hiroshige, this collection seeks to capture the fleeting, fragile grace of cherry blossoms drifting on a spring breeze.
Combining the rich yellow of 22ct gold (or the slightly paler hue of 18ct gold) with the satin-finished, textured whiteness of silver creates a striking contrast, while the softly sparkling yellows of the citrines and golden rutile quartz further enhance the pieces’ delicate elegance.
The tear-shaped earring pendants curve gently towards the back and feature a fine silver and gold flower pattern with tiny golden dots at the centre.
