Miyabi (Elegance / Refinement) – are long, graceful earrings with a subtle flower pattern, dainty gold granulation and golden sparkly rutile quartz gemstones.

This piece is part of my Cherry Blossom Collection. Having always been drawn to Japanese aesthetics, traditions, and craft practices, the idea for this collection emerged whilst listening to a novel set in Japan. Reflecting on the minimal beauty of Japanese cherry blossom prints by Hokusai and Hiroshige, this collection seeks to capture the fleeting, fragile grace of cherry blossoms drifting on a spring breeze.

Combining the rich yellow of 22ct gold (or the slightly paler hue of 18ct gold) with the satin-finished, textured whiteness of silver creates a striking contrast, while the softly sparkling yellows of the citrines and golden rutile quartz further enhance the pieces’ delicate elegance.

These beautiful earrings were designed with many details to capture your attention. The softly rounded shape at the lower end draws attention to an elegant flower pattern in silver and gold, whilst at their pointed finial the golden rutile inclusions of the quartz sparkle in the light and invite further examination.

The pendant dangles freely from a gently twisted stem which is attached to a silver petal ear piece with minute golden granulation.
