An iconic necklace of sensual elegance.
Drawing on the traces left behind by ancient civilisations, this collection Lines and Traces interprets my discoveries from books and museums through abstract designs composed of lines, gentle curves and minute golden dots. The pieces echo with the stories contained in the script and lines of the cuneiform tablets, the stories hidden in the scratches and marks of ancient jewellery or those evoked through the masterful granulation of Etruscan goldsmiths.
Composed of 325 individual jump rings, this chain, the pendant and the clasp of this necklace pay homage to the Hand-Made. Each component is carefully fashioned by hand, with meticulous attention to details such as the reverse of the pendant or the design of the clasp, creating a piece destined to become a treasured heirloom.

The pendant position is not adjustable, however, if you would like it to be positioned a little lower or higher, please let me know.

Wearing It
Imagine wearing this necklace... Imagine how its smooth chain naturally drapes itself around the contours of your neck; the feel of the pendant, its re-assuring weight with the secure clasp at the back. How the piece moves with your body, shimmers in the light and how you know that you are wearing a completely unique piece. The necklace is for women who appreciate the individuality and uniqueness of a hand-made piece, its story and making journey.
The necklace is fastened with a clasp at the nape of the neck. It is secured in two ways: the hinged housing of the closure mechanism, which echoes the design of the pendant. It is opened with a figure-of-eight safety clasp and, on opening, reveals then the second layer - the actual clasp. It consists of a chain end which is slid over and attached securely over the right-hand hook. Please see the above images.
