Similar to the slightly shorter version, Fragments II – are long, elegant silver earrings with 18ct gold patterns and gold granulation.
This piece is part of my Lines and Traces Series. Drawing on the traces left behind by ancient civilisations, this collection interprets my discoveries from books and museums, through abstract designs composed of lines, gentle curves and minute golden dots. Whilst they are abstract, I imagine them infused with the stories preserved in cuneiform tablets, pieces of ancient jewellery or in the wondrous granulation of Etruscan goldsmiths.
These dangly earrings are mismatching by design and provide extra sparkle with the freely dangling silver and gold wire rings.
They are secured to the ear by an ear post in the middle of the top oval.

Wearing the Piece
These lovely earrings offer plenty of movement and sparkle. Being lightweight, they are easy to wear and combine with a variety of outfits and different occasions. Whilst they would dress up any casual or work outfit, they would equally go well with a special evening outfit.
The ear posts are made from silver, are 11 mm long and have a large silver scroll back.

All of my pieces are designed in collections and are made in small editions, sometimes as completely unique pieces. Even with repeated pieces, there are always slight pattern variations, which are part of the making process, making each piece completely unique. Like all of my pieces, the ear studs are hallmarked at the London Assay Office for complete peace of mind.
