Following my visit to the amazing Annie Albers exhibition at the Tate Modern, London in December 2018, I made this brooch. Being fascinated by the process of weaving I wanted to create something that reminded me of her work.

The brooch is 40 x 40 mm and is made of Argentium silver. It is constructed as a frame with textured, weaving lines, riveted against a darkened background. At the back it has a secure double-pin in stainless steel.
